Ms. Killen worked on international development cooperation for a decade in her role as the Deputy Director of the OECD's Development Co-operation Directorate and is now the Director at Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN).

Prior to this, she held a series of increasingly senior posts in the UK government Department for International Development (DFID), including the post of Head of Department and Chief Economist: Europe, Middle East & Americas. Ms. Killen has a strong commitment to gender equality, was a member of the UK Delegation to the Fourth UN Women’s Conference in Beijing in 1995, and currently advises on a high level accountability committee for Every Woman Every Child (EWEC). She graduated from the London School of Economics with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Economics with distinction.
