Women in Global Health Finland was Co-Founded by Jennifer Martin (@Jmartinresearch) and Salla Atkins (@SallaAtkins) in August 2019. The principle aim of the chapter is to raise the visibility of women working in global health that is based in Finland and to galvanize a network of individuals that is ready to support more women into leadership within the field through an action-orientated approach. They have worked closely with the Finnish Government and the UN Technology Innovation Lab. They host activities that build solidarity within the women in global health in Finland through programs including the COVID-19 Task Force led by Kaisa Lähdepuro (@kaisalahdepuro).
